A Smile

A Smile costs nothing, but gives much
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever
None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it,
and none is so poor, but that he can be made rich by it
A Smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business,
and is the countersign of friendship
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad,
and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen,
for it is something that is of no value to anyone, until
it is given away
Some people are too tired to give you a smile;
Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so
much as he who has no more to give.
Grace

Grace is of music…and the wind, invisible to my eye.
Grace is of my heart and soul, my guardian, first and last friend.
~Celebrator of my spirit~

Grace is hard to understand when I demand to touch and see.
It is the answer in between…the lines…
Intuition opens the door to readiness ~
sometimes doesn’t a special coincidence…
…happen at just the right time?

When I am utterly exhausted
Grace keeps me in the game.

We say that we don’t deserve grace, or need any special favors.
Why is it so hard for us to accept a gift we didn’t “earn”?
That is EXACTLY WHY we are given Grace.
Because we believe that we aren’t “good”…enough.

Grace is my Higher Power’s visibly invisible proof…
…of love, protection, and knowledge…
…that we are loved by God.

The name “Pangantucan”, meaning wisdom and strength, is dedicated to a white stallion. The horse uprooted a bamboo on time to warn his master, a datu of the tribe, of an impending danger from Manobo marauders, thereby saving the tribe of a one-sided massacre.

Once a barrio of Maramag, Pangantucan, being the seat of government, was joined with Adtuyon, Dominorog, Panalagsagan, Kalilangan and Barandias to form a separate municipal district in 1931. It was created a regular municipality in 1961.

Sitio Tayapoc, Brgy. Aundanao, Samal District

A good trek (mountain climbing) often has it's own rewards. Communing with nature is a prime motivation but so too is the experience. Outdoor nature enthusiasts may conquer Mount Puting Bato, so named because of the sheer limestone wall with a towering height o0f about 1,362 feet above sea level. At the summit, the picturesque fusion of seas and mountains is a beauty only trekkers can behold and rave about.

The highest peak in the island with 1,346 ft. treacherous limestone ravines leading to Mt. Puting Bato, where one could see from the summit the enchanting panoramic view of most of Davao Gulf, Davao City and Mt. Apo.

Nicolas Cage Immitation

My little Carmellie can make me forget about adultisms and remind me that- once in a while- childish whimsy isn't so bad :)

You can't Love Me

I’ve tried to restrain this feelings tremendously
Coz I know you shouldn’t love me this way.
I thought this is too far from reality
But you keep a special place in your heart exclusively for me.

My thoughts whisper “Don’t mind this feelings seriously”
My heart cry “Don’t trust me when I give you hopes of prosperity”

I can’t hurt you further
I know in the end we can’t have each other
I can’t allow these feelings to grow any longer

Please let me go…
Don’t make it too long….too hard….
You can’t love me, I’m not worthy…
